I started coding in 2012 at iClouds in Itapetininga. PHP and jQuery, learning by jumping in. In 2014 I moved to Communicar in Sorocaba. I joined as support and ended up building children's games for speech therapy, finding vulnerabilities, proposing improvements. That's where I learned that taking initiative changes the kind of work that lands on your desk.
In 2015 I joined GFT as a junior. In four years I went from L1 to L3, leading large projects while still a junior, earning the trust of managers. From October 2015 to January 2017 I lived in Italy working on-site, running meetings in Italian (learned in practice, a bit rusty today).
In 2020 I joined Goomer at the most critical moment possible: the start of the pandemic. I led Goomer Go from scratch, now known as Delivery and QR Code at Goomer. It's the project I'm proudest of in my career.
The shift to management was gradual. I started as a tech reference, then front-end lead, and in 2022 Goomer needed someone in the Engineering Manager seat. I knew I had the potential and was preparing for something like it. But managing my old peers was a real learning curve. I learned management by doing management.
Today I lead Android, back-end and full-stack teams, and I'm right in the middle of engineering's AI-native transformation.

Digital menu, delivery and QR Code ordering platform built from scratch during the pandemic. Led it from inception and technical architecture to what is today the base of Goomer’s consumer-facing products. Serves thousands of restaurants in Brazil.

October 2015 to January 2017 in Milan as a lead on projects for large European clients. Meetings in Italian, multicultural context, enterprise scale.
I believe great technical management is balance: close enough to the code to understand what the team faces, far enough that they have room to grow.
The best process is the one that fits the context. I've imported and adapted practices like structured post-mortems, collaborative planning and release checklists, always asking whether they help or just create work.
I'm betting big on AI in engineering. Not as hype, but as daily practice, starting from back-end and expanding to Android and front-end. The goal is for every person on the team to leave more capable of building, not less.
